Our family loves these preserves — we just swap them into any recipe that calls for grape or blueberry jelly to elevate the flavors, make it feel more special and as a bonus, get in all of the immunity benefits of elderberry. We were hooked after the first jar. The bright black fruit of the elderberries in combination with the blueberries is just perfect. Not too sweet but so richly flavored and perfect for a piece of toast or to add to yogurt. We used it for jam thumb print cookies at Christmas too!
